Strong winds and high fire danger will continue for eastern Colorado, while western parts of the state can expect snow.

Strong winds and high fire danger will continue for eastern Colorado on Monday.

A Fire Weather Watch is effect for Denver, Fort Collins, Greeley and all of eastern Colorado through Monday afternoon.

Locations along the Front Range can expect sunny skies, highs in the low 40s and very windy conditions. Wind gusts could reach a dangerous 60 mph by Monday afternoon.

Winds will start to decrease Tuesday, with most noticing a significant difference in wind speed by Wednesday afternoon in the Denver area.
