Strong winds closed a stretch of Interstate 25 Monday afternoon – and prompted travel alerts for light and high-profile videos.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation says southbound Interstate 25 closed at around 2:30 p.m. from Cheyenne to the Colorado state line.

There’s no estimated time for reopening.

According to Colorado State Patrol, there have been multiple reports of blown-over semi-trucks on I-25 north of Fort Collins. Travel restrictions in the area have since been lifted.

Gusts reached 71 miles per hour north in parts of northern Colorado Monday.
