DENVER - One of Colorado's holiday traditions, the 9NEWS Light the Lights event takes place at the City & County Building, where 585 energy-efficient LED lights and more than 2,000 feet of LED rope lights transform the building into one of the most popular holiday lighting displays in the region. 9NEWS and Colorado Education Project raised $1,068 to support this lighting display through the sale of the 2011-12 "E" Book at the three Tattered Cover Bookstore locations in December, helping ensure the tradition continues in 2012.
The "E" Book is a value-packed coupon including free goods and services as well as exclusive discounts from popular merchants throughout the Denver Metro and Northern Front Range communities. Purchasers enjoy savings from King Soopers, Comcast, The Denver Post, Cold Stone Creamery, Subway, Blackjack Pizza, Grease Monkey, Copper Mountain, Loveland, Winter Park, SolVista Basin, plus a whole lot more all for just $10. Best of all, "E" Book sales benefit local schools, youth programs and select nonprofits and organizations.
"E" Books are still on sale now through April 15, 2012 at King Soopers, Tattered Cover Bookstore, Outlets of Colorado or www.eduproject.com.
9NEWS is a proud Presenting Partner of the 2011-12 "E" Book Project.
