LOVELAND - Sierra's Race Against Meningitis is Saturday, June 1 at The Ranch, located at 5280 Arena Cir. in Loveland. Sierra's Race has become one of the largest 5K races in Northern Colorado.
Sierra's Race Against Meningitis (SRAM) is committed to preventing bacterial meningitis in loving memory of Sierra Krizman. After the race, they will host a FREE vaccination clinic.
They are extremely honored to announce that this year meningitis survivor, Amy Purdy will be sharing her incredible story immediately following the race. Despite losing both her legs to meningitis, Amy Purdy, followed her dreams, becoming a professional snowboarder, entrepreneur and participant on The Amazing Race. She will be sharing her amazing story of courage and overcoming obstacles.
The race will be held Saturday, June 1 at 8:30 am, at The Ranch, located at 5280 Arena Cir. in Loveland.
Cash prizes will be given for overall male and female winners, as well as setting the Colorado 5K record and Sierra's 5K record. Pre-registration for the 5K Run/Walk is $22.00 and includes a long sleeved t-shirt and $10 for the Kids Fun Run, which includes a T-shirt.
Pre-registration will end on May 29 at 6 p.m., and registrations received by May 10 will receive a free Chick fil-a combo meal coupon.
