The new ValuText program introduces the idea of mobile couponing through Geo-Fence Technology. "Any customer can opt in. They can text the word 'value' to 25787 and then when they drive into one of the shopping centers that are part of the program, they'll receive deals, offers and discounts on in that shopping center... And don't have to print coupons or anything like that," Chief Executive Officer of Cohn Marketing, Jeff Cohn said.

The program was specifically created by Cohn Marketing for the worldwide shopping center owner and manager, DDR Inc. "we service our client called DDR. They own shopping centers around the country and we're giving them a way to provide that extra value to that small 'mom and pop' retailer to help them compete in the marketplace," Cohn said.

On of the best features of the ValuText program according to Cohn is that it does not require internet or a GPS devise, it can be used with any cell phone that can receive text messages.

"The program is set up so that any person with a mobile devise can become a part of the program. And when they become a part of the program, they then get those deals when they're on site," Cohn said.

Another unique feature ValuText offers is, unlike group couponing platforms, it does not cost anything to the shopper or retailer.

Shopping centers around the world are participating in the program but locally, deals can be found at University Hills, Centennial Promenade and Aspen Grove.
