The Goosinators are driven on land and on water. They scare the birds away.

After the geese learn what the Goosinator is, the apparatuses can simply be parked - which will intimidate the birds to stay away from the park.

The City wanted to buy the Goosinators because of ongoing complaints received from park-goers regarding the condition and usability of the park due to the presence of geese and the "gifts" they leave behind. The presence of goose feces is also a health hazard to animals and children who may be near it.

Doug Kelly, a wildlife specialist, and Scott Gilmore, deputy manager of parks, demonstrated the Goosinator.

It is remotely controlled.
