'Casablanca' returns to theaters for 75th anniversary

KUSA - One of the greatest - and one of the most quoted - films of all-time is returning to theaters.

Casablanca will play in movie theaters nationwide on Sunday, November 12 and Wednesday, November 15 in celebration of its 75th anniversary.

The film, which won Oscars in 1944 for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Screenplay, stars Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman and Paul Henreid in one of the greatest love triangles in Hollywood history.

Time Magazine called it "the single greatest movie ever made." American Film Institute named it the most romantic movie ever made and it currently sits at number two on AFI's "100 Greatest Movies" list.

All screenings are part of TCM Big Screen Classic Series and Fathom Events. TCM Primetime Host Ben Mankiewicz will have special commentary before and after the movie.

Casablanca will play at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday and Wednesday.

Tickets can be purchased here, just enter your zip code to find the theater nearest you.
