Everyone loves Kelly Clarkson's cover of 'Wrecking Ball'

KUSA – Kelly Clarkson won the first American Idol way back in 2002 by covers.

Now, in 2015, she's winning the Internet by doing the exact same thing.

Her cover of Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" trending on Facebook and Google Monday. And if you watch the video below, you can see why!

She sang the song during a concert in Indianapolis on Thursday (no, she did not mimic the iconic music video).

This isn't the only cover Clarkson has experimented with. It seems the singer is doing a "Breakaway" (yes, that is a reference to the 2004 hit album) from original music.

Here is a quick breakdown of Clarkson's covers for all of the fans who have wondered what Clarkson's been up to "Since U Been Gone."

Rihanna's "Stay"

Tracy Chapman's "Give Me One Reason"

Adele's "Someone Like You"

Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off"

Clark's cover of "Shake it Off" by Taylor Swift makes me forget who Swift even is.

N*SYNC's "Bye, bye, bye"

Eminem's "Lose Yourself"

So, for all you Kelly Clarkson fans out there, we can be "Thankful" (Clarkson's debut studio album…) that the singer is back. Because, let's face it, that's "All I Ever Wanted" (fourth album that debuted at No. 1.)
