Jersey Boys star to sing National Anthem at Rockies game

DENVER - Frankie J. Galasso, who played Frankie in the hit Broadway musical Jersey Boys, will sing the National Anthem at Wednesday's Colorado Rockies game against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Galasso also sang the National Anthem at Sunday's Broncos game.

Galasso has starred in the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys, which tells the story of the 1960s band The Four Seasons and its four original members: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. The band wrote their own songs and created a unique new sound and sold 175 million records worldwide. 

The band are known for hits like "Working My Way Back To You," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Sherry" and "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)."

The Four Seasons were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.

Jersey Boys will return to Denver November 9 through 13 at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts - Buell Theatre. Tickets start at $35 and can be found at denvercenter.org or by calling 303-893-4100.
