MINNEAPOLIS - The Prince concert is on -- and by the looks of it, it's going to be one heck of an evening.
After much debate over whether the event would even happen, the news was announced Thursday that the concert will go on as scheduled on Oct. 13 but will head across the river.
Instead of being at U.S. Bank Stadium, "Prince: The Official Tribute, A celebration of life and music" will take place at Xcel Energy Center.
Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, John Mayer, Chaka Khan and Morris Day & the Time, Tori Kelly, Anita Baker, Judith Hill, Mint Condition, Doug E. Fresh and more are among the many artists scheduled to perform.
The New Power Generation led by Morris Hayes, along with members of 3RDEYEGIRL, also will perform.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday via Ticketmaster.
As announced on Friday, ticket prices start at $19.99 (a nice touch) and go up to $42.50, $82.50, $112.50 and $152.50.
There is a strict six-ticket limit. For more information, click here.
