KUSA - 9NEWS viewers are not stranger to science guy Steve Spangler's zany experiments. Now, the whole country gets to see him again on Wednesday during his 14th appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The show airs at 3 p.m. on Channel 9. While Spangler did not want to give his experiment away, he did say that it involves 5,000 tablets of Alka-Seltzer and a truckload of film canisters.
He first appeared on Ellen in 2007, when he taught her how to blow giant smoke rings. Since then, he has enabled an audience member to walk on water, forced Ellen to lay on a bed of nails and caused a pumpkin explosion.
Spangler hosts a weekly segment on Mondays at 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. on 9NEWS.
