There's a call on Tuesday from Sens. Cory Gardner of Colorado and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin for a federal investigation of the Denver V.A.
A whistleblower went to Congress with information on wait lists for veterans care in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Golden.
The person also claimed a 26-year-old Army Ranger killed himself while waiting for mental health care in the Springs, and that the VA in the Springs might have falsified records after his death.
The whistleblower went to Senator Cory Gardner, so did we.

VA spokesman Paul Sherbo says the department will work with the inspector general and the senators to determine what happened. He said veterans' health is the agency's top priority.
The VA has spent years trying to shorten lengthy wait times for health care amid allegations that records were falsified to disguise the problem.
