Denver rolls out their spiffy new trash cans

Next time you pass an alley in Denver, check out the new trash cans. Pretty spiffy. If you can't tell the letters are all sparkly.

Denver has rolled out the new cans it wants everyone to use to consolidate trash runs, and limit how much people can throw away.

A thousand homes will have them by the end of next year. They're being rolled out neighborhood by neighborhood. The city is paying $6.5 million bucks for them.

We've heard of a few mishaps, where the trash truck arm picking up the can tosses the whole thing into the trash, but the issues don't seem to have reached A Line proportions - yet.

Can you imagine that segment?

"Did your cans get trashed today?"
