"If this election is driving you to drink, the Boulder County elections division has a solution for you: a handy coaster."
Boulder County has an innovative idea for the election.
The elections division is issuing cardboard coasters in hopes that they prompt conversations about voting.
The coasters have information about voting on them, including how to text to register to vote, and tips and tricks to make sure your ballot gets in on time.
“We thought these beverage coasters would be a great way to reach first-time voters to make sure they had the information they need about voting, including understanding that all Colorado voters receive ballots in the mail,” said Boulder County Clerk Hillary Hall.
The elections division ordered 10,000 coasters.
They'll be handing them out to restaurants, bars and breweries.
