Next Question: What's with the dog statues on the Broomfield ball field?

BROOMFIELD, COLO. - Our Next Question came from Margo Stearns, who wanted to know what's going on in Broomfield. She spotted dog statues all over the baseball field at the high school, and she asked us to check them out.

The high school told us that the Broomfield baseball coach was tired of geese defecating on his team's field, so he came up with a creative way to keep them off the grass.

Broomfield High's Athletic Director Autumn Sereno tells us baseball coach Garren Estes made the dogs himself.

He places them on the field during the off season to make sure the geese stay away - so he can keep the field clean.

Fun fact -- the material he used to make the dogs' ears is flexible so they actually move in the wind.

Creative.
