Colorado cooking gets ready for its 'Top Chef' closeup

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Bravo’s hit TV show Top Chef will be set in Denver, Boulder and Telluride next season, shining a bright light on Colorado's flourishing food scene.

The show pits aspiring chefs in competition with each other to earn the Top Chef title. And it showcases restaurants and food producers in the locations where it films.

In this week's Take3, our weekly series of three-minute video stories, Jennifer Jasinski -- the award-winning chef-restaurateur who operates Rioja, Bistro Vendôme, Stoic & Genuine and other Denver eateries -- talks about how Denver's stint on the Top Chef stage will help Americans see the Mile High City as a culinary mecca.
