KUSA - Firefighters in Tennessee are working nearly around the clock to get wildfires in places like Gatlinburg under control.

The brave firefighters from the Johnson City Professional Firefighters Association L-1791 posted this on their Facebook page.

Talk about some hard working people!

This may be the closest thing to sleep this group of Tennessee firefighters got while battling the raging wildfires.

Nearly 24 hours of heavy rain helped put out a series of the fires in eastern Tennessee.  This has allowed officials to turn their efforts toward cleanup and recovery.
