A metro Denver community is among the 10 happiest in the nation; here's Colorado's top 10

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Happy may be a relative term that means different things for people — but a new report created a formula to measure it in Colorado cities and across the U.S. — and a metro Denver community is in the top 10.

Highlands Ranch, the sprawling community 12 miles southwest of Denver, was rated the 7th happiest in the nation.

That's according to Zippia, a San Francisco-based career information website, which compiled a list of the happiest and least happy 300 mid-sized cities (those with populations of between 50,000 to 150,000) in the nation.
