One look at the variety of million-dollar homes for sale in the Denver market, and that definitely rings true.

For example, a $1 million budget will buy a massive 8,100 square foot manse on the outskirts of Golden, but just 3,334 square feet in Cheesman Park in Denver.

It will also get you two acres and a 4-car garage on a secluded lot in Centennial, or a 2,470-square-foot condo in Greenwood Village that comes with amenities like 24-hour concierge service and a spa.
