Buddy Check 9

On the 9th of every month, we ask women to do a monthly breast self-exam and then call their “buddy” to remind her to do the same. Their buddy can be a family member, colleague or friend. Hundreds of women have found lumps; the majority of them are not malignant. Our hope is that cancer is discovered in its early stages, when it is most treatable.

Hope House of Colorado
A non-denominational Christian organization serving teen mothers in the metro area. Hope House offers teen mothers and their children a safe and stable home for up to two years while each mom participates in a structured self-sufficiency program. Their Outreach Program helps teen moms who don’t need housing, but struggle to make ends meet, working to connect them to the services in our community that will help them.
