A HIGH WIND WARNING will be in effect for the western suburbs of Denver, Fort Collins, the foothills and the Continental Divide until 5 a.m. Thursday. Gusts in the warning area could reach 85 to 100 mph. Afternoon temperatures above average in the lower 60s downtown.
