AMC Corporate Communications Manger Andy Diorio says the theater's quality will be four times the resolution of HD television.

The complex holds 2,200 seats within 12 different auditoriums for movie fans to take in the high quality picture. Two screens will be almost three stories high and 50 feet wide with 299 seats for viewing.

Later this summer, an IMAX theater with a nine-story screen will be built. So if you haven't been to a movie lately, don't be surprised to hear people talking about AMC Orchard 12. Before noon on select Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays movies are just $5. One of the first movies for viewing will be Leatherheads with George Clooney.
