DENVER - 9NEWS, the Colorado Rockies and Colorado State University teamed up on Wednesday for the Fifth Annual Weather and Science Day at Coors Field.
The interactive presentation started at 10:30 and ran until 11:30 a.m.
Weather and Science Day featured the 9NEWS Weather Team and the Colorado State University's Little Shop of Physics. It incorporated physics, math and meteorology into unique science experiments.
For Wednesday's event, an attendance record was broken. With an attendance of 10,369, Weather and Science Day is now the world-record holder for the largest physics lesson.
Each participant received a bag of materials to experiment with at the program, to take home for further investigations. Each section of the stands had Colorado State University students doing smaller-scale demonstrations, engaging with the K-12 visitors.
