Colo. restaurant chain getting rid of artificial flavors

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Noodles & Company said it's getting rid of artificial flavoring on its menu.

The Broomfield restaurant chain (Nasdaq: NDLS) also said it will use meat and poultry never given antibiotics or hormones, by 2017.

The company announced plans for its "Made Different" campaign in August, when it announced disappointing second-quarter earnings, spurring CEO Kevin Reddy to say Noodles had hit a slump.
