Denver ranks high on Zagat's list of the 26 hottest food cities

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - It seems like every other week there's a new restaurant (or two, or three) opening in the Mile High City and its surrounding cities.

There's no shortage of new places to add to the weekend to-do list, from downtown steakhouses, to a North Carolina-based breakfast-lunch diner, to the new bowling alley/restaurant in Lone Tree, to urban wineries— plus re-vamped designs from some of Denver's culinary superstars (like Richard Sandoval's new fast-casual spot in LoHi amd Kevin Taylor's Broomfield eatery) and places like RiNo's Denver Central Market.

Last month, the Colorado Restaurant Association even launched its first-ever annual restaurant show to address the questions, concerns and aspirational goals of the state’s booming eatery scene.

Any way you slice it, metro Denver restaurant scene is blazing.
