Downtown Houston hotel to team up with one of Denver's most famous chefs

One of Houston's oldest hotels plans to partner with a world-renown chef as it cooks up a new concept.

The Four Seasons Houston in Houston's downtown area announced a partnership with chef Richard Sandoval. Sandoval will help develop a new lobby bar and restaurant called Bayou & Bottle as part of ongoing renovations to the hotel ahead of Super Bowl 2017. The concept is expected to open January 2017.

Bayou & Bottle's menu is still in the works, but the liquor selection will feature more than 70 types of bourbon and a bourbon locker for guests, the Chronicle reports. No executive chef has been named.

Sandoval was born in Mexico City and later started Denver, Colorado-based Richard Sandoval Restaurants. His eateries are located all over the world.
