KUSA - Do you ever find yourself in leftover limbo?
Chef Nick Evans was in the 9NEWS studios Saturday morning to help with some great tricks when remaking leftovers.
Evans says it's easy to make a simple salad with leftover granola. All you need is baby spinach. And to make the dressing, Greek yougurt, butter milk, and honey. Mix together and poor on top of the spinach. Then add on dried cranberries and the leftover granola.
Another common leftover is chicken. First you make a roux with onion, butter and flower. Once it is cooked down, mix in milk, add in presto, and your leftover shredded chicken. Evans added in bow tie pasta but say you can add in any kind of pasta that you would like.
