Boulder Police rescued ducklings

Boulder Police tweeted that the department helped a mother duck rescue her babies that were reported as trapped inside a grate they had fallen into.

BOULDER, COLO. - Serve and protect doesn’t just apply to people.

Boulder Police tweeted Friday that the department helped a mother duck rescue her babies that had become trapped inside a grate they had fallen into.

Police cleared the debris and built a ramp to help set the ducklings free.

The ducklings were chirping as they followed their mother back to safer waters.
