DENVER – From Telluride to Breckenridge, Vail to Denver, Colorado's mountain towns and cities boast more than just skiing and snowboarding. The mountains come with their own unique style that features a love for life and the great outdoors.
Be Hippy is a new brand designed to express the Colorado lifestyle, everything from our love of nature, to music and festivals.
Be Hippy was created by Leigh Tiller Pearson and her business partner/boyfriend, Bart O'Brien. The couple would wear its 'Be Hippy' apparel on their weekend trips to the mountains, only to be swarmed by others, asking where they got their Colorado swag.
Eventually, Tiller Pearson's boss at a Denver real estate company encouraged her to pursue the clothing line, realizing the idea was catching fire and had the potential to be bigger business.
Be Hippy will come to life on Thursday, when Tiller Pearson and O'Brien will officially launch the brand.
As part of the Colorado lifestyle it represents, Tiller Pearson and O'Brien also realized part of the Colorado lifestyle meant giving back. That's why the couple has made it a commitment to give part of the profits to Colorado and other worldly charities.
Right now, they are currently campaigning on Indigogo. Their goal is to raise $15,000 by May 23rd. To make a donation, you can visit https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/be-hippy-vintage-1968-vw-bus/x/7161174#home
Tiller Pearson and O'Brien will further immerse themselves into their Be Hippy brand, by selling their gear at local Colorado festivals. The couple is working on raising enough money to purchase a Volkswagen bus, so they can travel to different locations.
Tonight, they will host a Be Hippy Launch party. Proceeds raised during the event will benefit SOUL, a non profit that benefits Ugandan communities. Below is the information:
