KUSA - A new Colorado company already has a global reach. Cultrs.Guru is a multi-culture online magazine.
Doni Luckutt is the founder.
"I'm so excited that is based here in Colorado and is having an impact around the world," said Luckutt.
She says it is a resource for people who are globetrotters and the people who want to connect with them.
"The site is also an opportunity for anyone to learn more about a world that is increasingly diverse," Luckutt added. "It is for military families, missionary families, or international business kids. It will also resonate with people who have parents who immigrated here or have a parent with a different cultural background and ethnicity."
She says those experiences change the way a person sees the world. Sometimes it can make a person feel isolated.
"This is an online community for anyone who has felt alone," Luckutt said.
You'll find articles on places to visit around the world and some of the best food and drink to be found. There are a lot of personal experiences shared so people all around the globe can connect and learn more about each other.
Culturs.guru is doing a crowd-funding effort called Indiegogo.
Football greats Sterling Sharp and former CU quarterback Kordell Stewart are offering themselves up to play a round of golf with you. The money will help send Colorado State University students to Africa.
