DENVER - Copper, a handsome and mild mannered older gentleman looking for his forever home.

His previous owner said that he got along with the kids and is okay with cats too.

He struggles with separation anxiety, so someone who is home a lot or knows how to address his anxiety would be ideal.

If you are looking for an easy going companion animal that won't leave your side check out Cooper.

This Humane Society opened in 2009 and serves the south metro area.

They are the recipient of proceeds from this year's Molly Dharma Run – a yearly motorcycle ride that raises money for animal shelters.

Molly Dharma Run.
Sunday June 8th

The run is named for Molly Dharma - a big dog who lived at the Maxfund for a long time – no one wanted to adopt her because she was an angry difficult dog.

Molly was adopted by Kirk , a biker, who with much attention and care transformed Molly's life.
