DENVER - Two wonderful rabbits came to Petline9 Saturday.
Michelle and Oreo are 6 years old. They are looking for a new home - and want to be adopted together.
House Rabbit Society believes pet rabbits belong indoors - they are very social creatures and need attention and love.
Generally, rabbits aren't good "starter" pets for children.
They are great pets for anyone who wants a smart, wonderful companion and would be a great choice for seniors. While they really need to be in pairs, two are no more trouble than one and you don't need to feel badly if you cannot be with your bunny during the day. They will groom each other, snuggle and keep one another company. They don't need yearly shots but they do need an exotic veterinarian. The society will help locate a great vet in your area of town.
The Colorado House Rabbit Society has been pairing bunnies with happy families for over 20 years and is there to help you make a great companion choice and support you as you learn the ins and outs of rabbit care.
