Waived fees on pets for service members at the Dumb Friends League

DENVER - As a way to thank and honor service men and women, the Dumb Friends League is waiving the adoption fee for all pets for military members on Veterans Day.

The DFL says it is their way of giving back to those who have served and continue to serve the country.

All cat and dog adoptions include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip identification implants and a free office visit with a participating veterinarian. The standard adoption screening process still applies during all waived-fee promotions.

On Friday, the Quebec Street shelter, located at 2080 South Quebec Street in Denver, will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the Buddy Center, located at 4556 Castleton Court in Castle Rock, will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For more information or to view adoptable pets, visit ddfl.org or call 303-751-5772.
