Peacock artist performs songs to be featured on upcoming albums

KUSA - Saturday morning, singer/songwriter Dillon Dixon performed two songs he co-wrote that will be featured on upcoming country albums.

The Denver native, who is now living in Nashville, performed "I Feel a Long Time Coming On" in the 7 a.m. hour. In the 8 a.m. hour, he performed "Invisible," a song slated to be on country artist and American Idol participant Josh Gracin's next album. At the end of the show he peformed "That's What God Wants Me to Do," which will be on country artist Rodney Atkin's next album.

Dixon has had songs recorded by George Jones, Mindy McCready, Restless Heart, Neal McCoy, Steve Holy, Rodney Atkins and others. His songs have also been performed in the movies "Scream," The Crow 3," "Mimic," "Cursed," "Dracula 2000," "Terminator 3" and "Live Free Or Die Hard."
