'Rare' twin baby moose spotted in Grand Lake

GRAND LAKE - Here is an "awwwww" moment for you.

Two baby moose were spotted roaming around Grand Lake Saturday morning.

A 9NEWS viewer, John Williams of John F Williams Photography, captured these little fellas and says they are twins, a rare occurrence.

According to the National Park Service website, twin calves occur in less than five percent of all births.

Many calves are born in late spring and early summer (between May and July), according to the National Park Service website.

So you might see more and more calves roaming around our state.
