Sox Place helps youth on the streets

Sox Place was founded in May 2002 and has served over 200,000 street youth and young adults with hot meals, clothing, personal hygiene, and massive amounts of love and acceptance

DENVER - Those of you who want to give back to the community, we have just the organization for you.

Sox Place is a drop-in center for kids and young people on the streets.

They help about 200,000 children who were either abandoned by their parents, fell through the cracks of the foster care system, or were tossed aside by society.

It's a safe environment with couches, recreation, and internet access.

On Friday, Co-Founder and Executive Director Doyle Robinson joined 9NEWS Mornings to tell us more about Sox Place and their 15-year anniversary.

Watch his interview in the video above.
