Storytellers: A record resurgence

KUSA - LP's and turn tables, pieces of history meant for music museums? Not everyone is convinced computer playlists are better.

The formats and styles of music have changed drastically over the years, from cassettes, to CD's, to now digital , but one of the original formats, the LP is making a comeback.

"A lot of people get their start with their parent's collection, or the collection in a basement in their house, " said Paul Epstein, owner of Twist and Shout in Denver.

He says the vinyl comeback is real.

"In the last three years or so, it's just skyrocketed. And since Christmas, it's over taken CD sales," he said.
