A Texas man who didn't come back after leaving to climb Longs Peak has been found.
60-year-old Steve Elliott had been planning on ascending the mountain via the Clark’s Arrow/Loft Route and returning on the Keyhole Route Friday.
The park says conditions were stormy on Friday morning, and there was ice reported on many of the routes.
Search and rescue crews found him at the base of Clark's Arrow at around 1:15 Saturday afternoon. They checked him out and helped him get warm before beginning their trek back off the mountain.
