It's the final weekend of February and spring is right around the corner. There's still time however to celebrate the winter season with ice skating and hot cocoa or you can prepare for warmer weather at two home, garden and outdoor shows. Denver Nuggets fans can welcome several legends back to Pepsi Center and the road to Wrestlemania will bring pro wrestling fans from across the region to Colorado. Lyons Chill Fest Lyons

To celebrate the winter season, head to the first annual Lyons Chill Fest on Saturday. The newly-opened ice rink in LaVern M. Johnson Park will the center of activities for the festival which runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event features free ice skating and rentals, live music, libations, hot cocoa, snacks and fun family activities. Colorado Garden & Home Show — Denver

The Colorado Garden & Home Show brightens the Colorado winter with 11 inspiring and beautifully landscaped gardens — not to mention 10,000+ blooming flowers. The show aims to spark ideas for remodeling, building and redecorating. More than 650 exhibitors will fill the Colorado Convention Center presenting new technologies and trends in landscaping, gardening and home improvement. Admission is $12, senior admission is $10 and children 12 and under are free. The show runs from Saturday through Sunday, March 4. Tickets are available at AXS.com. WWE Live: Road to Wrestlemania Denver

The road to April's Wrestlemania 34 comes through Denver on Saturday night. The biggest superstars in sports entertainment will be in action at Pepsi Center. WWE Smackdown superstars Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Jinder Mahal, Kevin Owens, Charlotte Flair, the Usos, Becky Lynch, Naomi, the New Day and many more are scheduled to appear. The show is set for 7:30 p.m. and tickets start at $20 at AltitudeTickets.com.

Chinese New Year Celebration Longmont

This free Chinese New Year Celebration features an art show, food, live performances, including the Lion Dance, Taiko Drummers, Tai Chi, Kung Fu, dancers and singers. Enjoy trying your skills at a number of hands-on booths — Chinese paper cutting, Origami, Chinese brush painting, chopstick lessons, a tea ceremony and more. The celebration runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Silver Creek High School (4901 Nelson Rd.) in Longmont. Creatures of Light at DMNS Denver

The newest exhibit at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science opens Friday. Creatures of Light will take you through a series of luminous environments, from grassy meadows to the deepest parts of the ocean. Earth has a diverse collection of organisms that glow, and this exhibit explores how and why they do. Creatures of Light will entertain and enlighten the whole family with videos, animations, photographs and iPad interactive learning tools. This new exhibition is included with museum admission and is open everyday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through June 10. Tickets to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science can be purchased at DMNS.org.

Colorado Bridal Show Fort Collins

Sportsman & Boat Expo Colorado Springs

With spring just weeks away, this weekend is the perfect time to prepare for the outdoor season. This family-friendly event has something for every outdoor enthusiast including hunting, fly fishing, outfitters and camping exhibits. The show also features one of the largest displays of boats for sale all under one roof. Outdoor experts including The Mushroom King Tom Weipert and hunters Donnelle Johnson and Lisa Thompson will be offering seminars and advice. Tickets for the show are $7.50 for adults and youth 16 and under are free. The Colorado Springs Sportsman & Boat Expo runs from Friday to Sunday at the Colorado Springs Event Center at Palmer Park & Academy.

Snowman Stampede 5K, 10K and Half Marathon Littleton

Keep your resolution to stay physically fit and head to Littleton for a 5K, 10K and half marathon on Saturday. The Snowman Stampede will be staged from Hudson Gardens near the Arapahoe Community College in Littleton. The half marathon is set to begin at 9 a.m., the 10K at 9:15 a.m. and the 5K at 9:30 a.m. Race day registration and packet pick-up will take place inside the Welcome Garden — a large tent located to the west of the parking lot, behind the gift shop. You can register online for all of the races as well.

Denver Nuggets 2000s Night Denver

The Nuggets are looking back to the 2000s when they host the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. Denver Nuggets legends Kenyon Martin, Marcus Camby, and Allen Iverson are reuniting at Pepsi Center as the organization recognizes the playoff teams of the previous decade. Tickets to Friday's Spurs game are available at AltitudeTickets.com. That's not the only Nuggets game this weekend however. James Harden and the red-hot Houston Rockets are coming to Pepsi Center on Sunday.
