DBJ's Year in Review: 2017's top stories, photos and more

The year 2017 has seen many major business news stories in Colorado.

An online behemoth taking on brick-and-mortar merchants makes big moves into Colorado. Housing prices continue to soar, and workers feel the pinch. Transportation needs grow, and there’s too little money to pay for fixes. Unemployment reaches record low and employers labor to fill jobs. And the oil and gas industry faces louder outcries over safety and impact on residents.

The year 2017 has seen many major business news stories in Colorado. In our annual Year in Review report, we're presenting the news developments that, in the view of the Denver Business Journal staff, made the biggest difference to the state's business community this year.

Through year's end, we'll offer a daily countdown of the 10 most important business news stories we reported in 2017.
