'All clear' given after suspicious device spotted on RTD train

An area of downtown Denver was paralyzed during rush hour as officers responded to the report around 4:30 p.m.

Police have determined the "suspicious" item spotted on an RTD train on Tuesday afternoon was not dangerous.

An area of downtown Denver was paralyzed during rush hour as officers responded to the report around 4:30 p.m.

Stout Street was closed from 15th to 17th Streets for around two hours. People who live in that area were not allowed to go home until the all clear was given.

Just after 6 p.m., DPD gave the area an all clear. DPD wouldn’t say what the device is they found, but did say it was not dangerous.
