Reports: CU loses offensive coordinator to Oregon State

Departure of Brian Lindgren may be the first of many changes after a disappointing season for the Buffs.
Colorado Buffaloes players sing the fight song on the field after a 44-28 win over the California Golden Bears at Folsom Field on October 28, 2017 in Boulder, Colorado.

Rumored staff changes in the Colorado football department could be underway.

Numerous reports Tuesday morning say that the Buffs' co-offensive coordinator Brian Lindgren has left the program. Lindgren is rumored to be the new offensive coordinator at Oregon State.

CU has not confirmed any coaching changes.

Lindgren has served as co-offensive coordinator with Darrin Chiaverini the last two years. Chiaverini could become the new sole offensive coordinator.

The Buffs just wrapped up a disappointing 5-7 season (2-7 PAC-12) a year after going 10-4 and winning the PAC-12 South division.

Oregon State is forming a new coaching staff with new head coach Jonathan Smith, who was hired last week.
