Broncos' quarterback Trevor Siemian suffered a left shoulder injury while he was sacked late in the first quarter and has been ruled out of the game. Multiple sources told 9News that Siemian's injury is such that he will miss the final two games of the season.

One source told 9News that Siemian's left shoulder dislocated and several players in the locker room said the quarterback told them his shoulder popped out and popped back in. Another source said Siemian's injury was similar to the sprained right shoulder Paxton Lynch suffered in the preseason. Lynch sat out half the season before returning to practice.

Broncos head coach Vance Joseph said Siemian suffered a sprained left shoulder and will receive an MRI on Friday.

The sack came on third down and after the Broncos took a delay of game penalty for not having enough men on the field, Brandon McManus missed a 40-yard field goal. Siemian came up holding his left wrist in a manner that suggests there was some kind of separation in the shoulder area.

Siemian left with the Broncos trailing, 7-0, but Brock Osweiler came in to rally Denver to a 25-13 win.

Siemian had surgery on his left shoulder in January as he missed a game last with a sprained AC joint.
