- 567 athletes, 48 National Paralympic Committees competing, both records for the Games
- 68 athletes from the USA, the largest contingent in Pyeongchang
- 36 athletes over six disciplines for host Republic of Korea, that country’s largest contingent ever
- 3 countries making their debut: North Korea, Georgia and Tajikistan
- 80 events, eight more than the previous high in Sochi
- 29 dignitaries from 20 countries attending
- 814 media from 29 countries; 2,213 television personnel
- 157% of ticket sales target sold (345,000).
- 742,000 visitors
