KUSA - With the holiday season upon us, the AARP claim now is a perfect time to check in on aging parents and relatives to see how they are coping with living by themselves.
The AARP encourages family members to look for signs that older loved ones may need more assistance, such as in-home care or a long-term care facility.
Their new Caregiving Resource Center offers tips and tools for families embarking on conversations about long-term options for aging relatives. It outlines tips and questions to simplify how relatives are doing with everything from mobility to health and finances.
