Stopping the spread of the Norovirus

KUSA - The Norovirus can spread quickly and target children and adults alike, putting a damper on holiday plans.

The virus can cause inflammation of the stomach and intestines. The symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, nausea and stomach cramping.

There are ways you can help stop the spread of the virus. The director of Denver Public Health Dr. William Burman was in the 9NEWS studios Saturday afternoon to answer common questions about the illness.
