More than a dozen manufacturers including Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Fiat, Ford, Ram, Subaru,Toyota and Volkswagen showcased their vehicles at the Expo over the weekend.
It was held at the Long Beach Convention Center in southern California. Drivers had the opportunity to try out nearly 100 cars. Auto show organizers said this was the first time drivers were given the chance to test all the cars under one roof.
"What you can do, really, in an environment like this, is drive these cars back to back," said Brauner. "This is important because sometimes the differences between cars are very subtle."
Another upside? All these drivable cars are available in a "sales-free environment," according to the event's website.
Among the vehicles Brauner showed off:
- 2013 Ford Escape
- 2013 Subaru Impreza
- Hyundai Sonata hybrid
- 2013 Chevy Traverse
