Breckenridge opens for the season

BRECKENRIDGE - Another ski resort fired up its chairlifts on Thursday morning.

Breckenridge Ski Resort kicked off its 2009-2010 season at 9 a.m.

Beginning Thursday and extending through the weekend, parking will be free in the North and South Gondola lots, as well as the Beaver Run lot.

Breckenridge joins Copper Mountain, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin and the Loveland Ski Area on the list of ski areas to open this season.
