DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Several Colorado's suburbs and other cities around the state may be optimum for first-time homebuyers, according to a new report from WalletHub.
That's despite the fact that the average price of a metro Denver home has topped $454,000, according to the latest data from the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, a cost that has made it increasingly difficult for first-time homebuyers.
The Washington, D.C.-based financial analyst site ranked 300 cities nationwide on their suitability for first time homebuyers, including 13 cities in Colorado.
Of those 13 Colorado communities, WalletHub ranked eight among the 50 best in the U.S. for first-time buyers, and 11 in the top 100.
