DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - It's one thing to buy a reclusive mountain estate. It's quite another to buy up an entire system of canyons.
But that is actually a very real possibility with the "Lost Canyon Ranch," a 682-acre property adjacent to Castle Rock and Castlewood Canyon State Park on the market for $20 million.
Jason August of Gourmet Real Estate, the property's listing broker, said he expects that the property will be broken into parcels that could be used for something like a master planned community.
"But there are other possibilities, including purchasing the land for a single-family legacy home," he added.
